Saw your site mentioned in Sunset November magazine 2006. I remember in downtown LA years ago in late 1990's I saw a striking white barn owl. It was night & was perched on light pole near Cesar Chavez & New High by Chinatown, looking for the rodents that would pass me while waiting for the Metro. Like an apparition I never saw it again but the rats were still seen less frequently.

I love the website! I had to get information together for school work on bats and I wish it was owls because this is a great website with LOADS of information! LOL! :-)

This place id the BEST!!! It's nice that there is a website dedicated to owls. So far on my science project, I have Elf owl and some info on the spotted owl.

I am interested in our great owls as well.I collect owl memorablia and go to schools etc.to talk about our birds.I also had an owl statue created--- it stands 13 ft.high and weighs 2100 lbs.( it`s a Great Grey Owl - our provincial bird for Manitoba
