This is an awesome website, which my 7-year-old son and I have enjoyed exploring for several hours. We have been reading the storybook series "The Guardians of Ga'Hoole" and his interest in owls is peaking. We are homeschoolers and have decided to do a unit study on owls. This website has provided so much valuable information for his studies. Even his 3-year old brother was awed by the wonderful recordings of the owl calls. Thank you for compiling such a valuable resource! We still have so much left to discover here.

I came here looking for some owl-based inspiration for my artwork, and that's what I certainly got! I loved looking through the photo gallery and reading up on owl mythology, and will definitely be returning should I want to find out more about these beautiful birds. Keep up the good work!

Owlkind has held me in it's mystical trance every since I had my "Yowlie Bop" ( this was a baby bottle shaped like an owl) Now, I am 30 years young and owls are still a very important symbol in my life and my soul draws nourishment from every encounter.

I have always had an affinity, or have been drawn to owls. I have collected owl figurines, pictures, stuffed animals, etc,] Many of my screen [internet] names are connected to the word "owl".....don't know what this all means, but am curious...

HI, I'm excited about having Burrowing owls actually living in my backyard. They leave at night and return in the morning. They can be found between N. Loop and Alameda at Rio Vista in Socorro TX. by El Paso. God must of sent us these owls to wipe out all the crickets. HORRAY. HORRAY TO THE OWLS!!
