Also known as Queen Charlotte OwlDescription: This subspecies is very dark above, and has underparts with pale to rich ochraceous-buff wash, densely bloched and streaked dusky.
Size: One male specimen had a wing length of 140mm ( 5.5")
Mean weight of males 84.8g (3oz), Females 99.6g (3.5oz)
