Maned Owl ~ Jubula lettii

Introduction

The Maned Owl is a medium-sized owl with long, bushy ear-tufts. These, together with the elongated feathers on the sides of the head and nape, give the bird a maned appearance.

Information

Distribution: Patchy distribution from Liberia east to Ghana and from south Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon east to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
