Introduction

The Seychelles Scops Owl is a very small owl with tiny, barely visible ear-tufts. It is also known as the Bare-legged Scops Owl.

Information

Distribution: Endemic to the Seychelles Archipelago. Originally present on most of the islands, but now only on Mahé.

Status: Extremely rare. Listed as Endangered by BirdLife International.
