Usambara Eagle Owl ~ Bubo vosseleri


The Usambara Eagle Owl is a medium-sized to large owl with short tousled ear-tufts. It is also known as the Nduk Eagle Owl.


Distribution: Endemic to the Usambara and Uluguru Mountains in northeast Tanzania.

Status: Listed as Vulnerable by BirdLife International.
