Seram Masked Owl ~ Tyto almae

Introduction

The Seram Masked Owl is a small to medium-sized barn owl with no ear-tufts. This species is not currently recognised by the International Ornithological Congress, who consider it a sub-species of the Moluccan Masked Owl Tyto sororcula.

Distribution: Endemic to Seram Island in Indonesia.
