Hume's Hawk Owl ~ Ninox obscura

Introduction

Also known as the Hume's Boobook, the Hume's Hawk Owl is a small to medium sized hawk-like owl with a round head and no ear-tufts. It was formerly considered a subspecies of the Brown Hawk Owl Ninox scutulata.

Distribution: Endemic to the Andaman Islands.
