The Solomons Hawk Owl is a small to medium-sized owl with no ear-tufts. Other names for this bird include the West Solomons Hawk Owl, (West) Solomons Boobook, and the Solomon Islands Hawk Owl.


Distribution: The Solomon Islands.

Status: Widespread, not uncommon throughout most of its range. Rarer on San Cristobal and Malaita.
