The Tawny Owls
The Tawny Owls are an authentic-sounding Rockabilly band based in Lyon, France.
They formed in 1995 with:
- Michel - lead vocal (formerly with Tombstone)
- Hervé - lead guitar
- Yann - upright bass (both formerly with Stompin' Shoes )
- Eric - drums (John Guster & The Rhythm Kings)
They list their influences as Eddie Cochran, Elvis Presley, Ray Harris, Gene Maltais, etc., and their act is made up from the legendary Sun studio tracks as well as more obscure from-the-vault killers.
Their album "High-Fly" features the following tracks:
