 OWL is an acronym for Online Web Learning, an system developed by the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in partnership with Brooks/Cole Cengage Learning, a publisher of print and digital learning solutions for higher education. OWL is used in many disciplines at the University of Massachusetts, and is has helped more than 100,000 students learn general and organic chemistry.
