Wakefield School Owls
 Wakefield School is an independent, college-preparatory school whose primary goal is to provide a rigorous, liberal arts education.
It is located in The Plains, Virginia, U.S.A. - 40 miles west of Washington, DC.
The School's motto is "Virtus et Sapientia", or "Virtue and Wisdom". Appropriately the school crest depicts Athena's Owl (The Little Owl Athene noctua), a symbol of wisdom. The official School newspaper is called Noctua.
Naturally, their athletics team is called "The Owls"
