"Here is a photo of a Snowy Owl female that came to our area last Christmas [2005]. She was a gorgeous female, and I shot lots of photographs of her. She was so beautiful and unique, that she caused a lot of commotion. Lots of photographers and well-wishers. As you might expect not all were in awe of her, and someone shot her. All efforts to rescue her were in vain, and she died around new years day."
