Cinereous Owl ~ Strix sartorii

Introduction

The Cinereous Owl is a fairly large owl with a large, rounded head with no ear-tufts. It has also been known as the Mexican Barred Owl. It was formerly considered a subspecies of the Barred Owl Strix varia.
